I absolutely love Easter! Something about the weather, bunnies and tulips get me so excited to celebrate. Here are some art and craft ideas to get you in the Easter spirit and keep your littles busy.
Who knew Peeps would have more benefits than just fulfilling a sweet tooth? I think most of the Peeps were gone before we started but a few were left to do our project (that I had to place out of reach). I envisioned the Peeps to a bunny stamp but it didn’t work out to be like that but was still fun! Maybe with older kiddos the stamp effect would work better 😉
Here is what you’ll need to paint with Peeps:
- 1 package of Peeps
- Paint (I mixed white with our colors to have a pastel look)
Easter Greeting Cards
I love to send greeting cards to family with the kids art. I think it makes it that much more special to receive a note in the mail. With technology these days getting a handwritten note is rare but I try to send them for holidays. Here is what you will need to make a Grandparents day (with sending them a card):
- Blank greeting cards and envelopes – You can find them at Michael’s or I found ours in the Target Dollar Spot
- Cookie cutters, or whatever you would like to use to decorate – Dollar Store
- Paint, glitter, stickers etc
- Adding in a printed photo would be fun too, the Grandparents would love it!
My First Easter
As you know, I like to document little tiny hands and feet. This is a really fun way to document those tiny feet and a great keepsake, from Stacey @ Glued to My Crafts.

Easter Bunny Note
Santa gets cookies for Christmas so why shouldn’t the Easter bunny get cookies and carrots too??? I have always looked forward to starting new traditions with my littles, as well as continuing traditions from my childhood. A fun tradition that we are going to start this year is leaving the Easter Bunny cookies and carrots to enjoy. We painted a special note for the Bunny.
